Which batteries qualify for trade-in credit?+

Any genuine Milwaukee M18, M12, or DeWalt 20V MAX / 20V MAX XR / FlexVolt / 12V MAX battery, regardless of condition. Swollen, dead, punctured, or fully working — we take them all.

How much credit do I get?+

$15 per qualifying pack, up to 10 packs per address per month. Credit applies automatically to your next Charged Tools order within 48 hours of the packs arriving.

Is shipping really free?+

Yes. We email a prepaid USPS Priority Mail label. Drop the box at any USPS location or schedule a free pickup at usps.com. No cost to you.

What happens to my old batteries?+

Working packs get refurbished and sold through our refurb line at a discount. Dead packs go to an R2-certified battery recycler in Ohio. Nothing ends up in a landfill.

Can I trade in batteries from other brands?+

Right now, only Milwaukee and DeWalt. We're planning to add Makita LXT and Bosch 18V later in 2026. If you have a different brand, call us at 1-888-665-0440 and we'll work something out.
